We’re looking for a passionate candidate with an Aerospace and Software background to expand our Simulation, Integration, and Test (SIT) team. The SIT department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of satellites by providing support to critical areas: Flight Software, Ground Software, Vehicle Test, and Mission Operations. The department collaborates with engineering teams to develop and maintain modern software engineering solutions that lead to mission success. Additionally, it employs rigorous testing processes to validate hardware and software, minimizing risks prior to launch. On the ground, the department supports the seamless operation of ground software systems for satellite communication, monitoring, and control, facilitating real-time data analysis and mission management. Together, these efforts ensure that satellites are properly launched, placed into orbit, and operated efficiently, supporting a range of applications for our customers.
The ideal candidate will act as a critical interface between developers and internal customers, working across engineering teams to integrate and test mission-critical software. They will identify and isolate failures across software, test, infrastructure, and configuration boundaries, then communicate clear, actionable findings to the appropriate stakeholders. Success in this role also requires improving the reliability, repeatability, and automation of regression testing while providing accurate test status and risk information to support release decisions.
