Responsibilities

• Working with a team of highly skilled professionals in a mission-centric environment
• Fixing corrupt and duplicitous metadata across a host or proprietary databases
• Ensuring metadata availability
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure uptime and operational readiness of critical databases
• Focal point for the users of GeOS to verify issues with GeOS, monitor GeOS, write up Supportworks tickets for troubles and outages, and help the GeOS DBA troubleshoot the scope and nature of GeOS issues

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.

Technical Skills

• Expertise specific to the customer’s metadata
• Ensure metadata remains as accurate as possible by conducting searches for incorrect data and fixing it where necessary
• Help with requirements for and reviewing possible replacements for their database
• Responsible for testing the customer’s database of metadata availability on the customer’s secure network
• Work with customer team members on database problems, database transition projects, and periodic data transfer actions
• Focal point for the users of GeOS to verify issues with GeOS, monitor GeOS, write up Supportworks tickets for troubles and outages, and help the GeOS DBA troubleshoot the scope and nature of GeOS issues
