Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Systems Integration Engineer at the Aurora, CO site. This level-4 role requires onsite work with SCI clearance and a strong background in systems integration, testing, and configuration management.

You will synthesize customer needs into robust test plans, coordinate complex testing activities, and perform detailed system analyses to ensure performance and reliability of critical defense software systems.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is required at the time of application.
• Experience with software installation and testing
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and scripting abilities
• Familiarity with configuration management processes and CI/CD tools
• Experience with GitLab and version control systems

Software Systems Integration Engineer - Level 4

Based out of Aurora, CO.

This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

Job Responsibilities

• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems
• Coordinates integrated testing activities
• Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program
• Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations

Basic Qualifications

• Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with commercial off the shelf and custom software installation
• Understanding of, and experience in, investigating log files and software/infrastructure issues
• Ability to create a lightweight configuration management process
• Ability to troubleshoot in a Linux environment
• Experience with GIT Lab
• Must have Sec+ certification or equivalent prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with command-and-control systems and software
• Experience integrating software and hardware

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
