MTSI seeks a Software Systems Integration Engineer Senior to join the Wright-Patterson AFB team. You will lead the design, integration, and delivery of complex software systems in secure environments, enabling cloud-based software and DevSecOps pipelines within a digital enterprise.

Strong DoD background and TS/SCI clearance are required. The role focuses on interfacing contractor code with embedded systems, managing interfaces, and ensuring compliance with program standards while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years DoD work experience.
• At least 3 years in a SAP/SCI environment within the last 8 years.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical bridge between contractor code and target embedded systems.
• Manage software integration interfaces and ensure interfaces align with program standards.
• Troubleshoot system-level anomalies and hardware/software interface issues with third-party operators.
• Support subsystem concepts and perform trade-off analyses for designs/modifications.
• Provide technical briefings and acquisition products to support WAG activities.
• Maintain CM processes and ensure DoD/ISO/CMMI compliance.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements and oversee testing and certification.

This position is part of the team that will plan, develop, initiate/stand-up, and sustain these architectures and capabilities. This position provides technical leadership in the design, integration, and delivery of complex software systems supporting these advanced digital infrastructure efforts.
