Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. Interested in improving the safety of rockets, ground systems, and space destinations? This role will mentor engineers in developing safety critical software to avoid hazards. Safety engineering experience isn’t required; but candidates need to have developed embedded safety software and demonstrate a deep understanding of software engineering, not just programming and testing. We hire for technical ambition and the ability to build trust. Other core required qualities include responsibility, ethics, curiosity, and creative thinking. We work hard to provide competitive compensation and benefits; and we recognize that safety depends on sharper thinking that comes from maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This position will directly and impact the future of space exploration by building a road to space!
