Job summary

Triune Infomatics Inc. seeks a System Software Analyst I to administer and optimize our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Intune, Azure, and Entra ID, while leading automation initiatives and incident resolution.

You will design policies, manage identity security, and build Power Platform solutions to streamline business processes, reporting, and governance across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and Entra ID in production.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration.
• Experience with conditional access policies, identity security, and device compliance management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with complex, cross-platform issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and lead technical initiatives.
• Desirable: Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300, PL-400.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and governance/compliance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) at an advanced level.
• Design, implement, and maintain Intune device management policies, compliance baselines, and deployment strategies.
• Manage identity and access in Entra ID, including conditional access policies and MFA strategies.
• Architect and troubleshoot Azure resources and services supporting the cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to automate processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of high-impact incidents across M365/Azure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) to streamline administration.
• Own documentation of system architecture, configurations, and SOPs.
• Evaluate new Microsoft features and licensing changes and advise adoption.
• Monitor cloud/on-prem health using Azure Monitor and other tools.

Summary:

The System Software Analyst I is an experienced member of the Platform and Cloud Engineering Team responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing the organization's Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Intune, Azure, Entra ID, and the Power Platform. This role works on complex configuration, troubleshooting, and project work, and serves as a technical resource for other IT staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive) at an advanced level
• Design, implement, and maintain Intune device management policies, compliance baselines, and application deployment strategies
• Manage identity and access in Entra ID, including conditional access policies, MFA/authentication strategies, privileged identity management, and hybrid identity/sync issues
• Architect and troubleshooting Azure resources and services supporting the organization's cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to automate business processes and reporting
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex, high-impact incidents across the M365/Azure environment
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API, etc.) to streamline administration and reduce manual work
• Own documentation of system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Evaluate new Microsoft features and licensing changes, and recommend adoption strategies
• Monitor the availability, performance, capacity, and health of cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Azure Monitor and other enterprise monitoring tools.
• Review system alerts, investigate infrastructure issues, perform initial troubleshooting, document findings, and escalation complex incidents to senior administrators or engineers.
• Partner with security, compliance, and other IT teams on governance, audits, and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and Entra ID in a production environment
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration
• Demonstrated experience with conditional access, identity security, and device compliance management
• Strong troubleshooting skills with complex, cross-platform issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and lead technical initiatives

Desirable Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 (M365 Administrator), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator), or PL-400 (Power Platform Developer)
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API
• Experience in a governance/compliance-heavy or regulated industry
• Familiarity with Intune co-management, Autopilot, or hybrid Azure AD join scenarios
• Experience mentoring or leading small technical project
