Qualifications

• 5+ years in software reverse engineering or technical exploitation.
• AA/2-year technical degree with 5+ years experience, or HS diploma with 15+ years.
• Software Engineering degree is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in hardware/software systems; read schematics and use microscopes.
• Autonomy, precision, and ability to work under tight confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Target Revision Control & Archiving: document variations across hardware revisions and software versions.
• Firmware Extraction: retrieve and archive firmware binaries from microcontrollers and memory chips.
• Software Behavior Mapping: map features and state machines of undocumented host-side software.
• System Fault Isolation: identify and isolate faults within hardware, OS, and software.
• Compliance & Operations: adhere to company policies and security regulations.
