Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced reverse engineer to join our Fort Meade, MD team. You will analyze hardware, software, and signals for embedded devices and related infrastructure, perform penetration testing, and document results for security-focused clients.

Candidates should have extensive reverse engineering experience, low-level programming skills, and knowledge of C/C++ and Python. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, and a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance is

Qualifications

• Five years of software reverse engineering experience or four years plus a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with reverse-engineering tools and automation of tasks.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware, software, and signal analysis of embedded devices and infrastructure.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability analysis of embedded systems.

Required Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Description

This candidate will perform hardware, software, and signal analysis of embedded devices and their supporting infrastructure equipment. They will be expected to perform penetration testing and vulnerability analysis of these embedded devices and associated infrastructure. In addition, they will also be expected to document these results.

Required Skills And Experience

• Five (5) years of experience as a software reverse engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. OR Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
