Job summary

Brunswick, a global marine leader, is seeking a Software Quality Tester in Tulsa, OK to support the software testing lifecycle by preparing and executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting issues. This role works with senior QA analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure software quality and performance.

• Conduct positive and negative functional, regression, and performance testing as required.

• Ability to work on small, well-defined task without supervision

Position Overview :

The Software Quality Tester is responsible for supporting the software testing lifecycle by preparing and executing test cases, documenting test results, and reporting issues. This role works closely with senior QA analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure software quality and performance. The role exists to assist in identifying defects, verifying fixes, and maintaining the overall quality of software products.

• Assist in developing and executing test plans and cases for software applications through black box testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects and issues.
• Collaborate with senior testers and developers to replicate issues and verify resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Basic knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• General product knowledge and interest in marine industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in software development or testing role
• Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium, JUnit)
• Basic knowledge of testing tools (e.g. TestRail, TestLink, JIRA)
• Basic knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs consistently
• Able to operate multiple types of watercraft safely
• Ability to work in confined spaces or at various heights

The anticipated pay range for this position is $39,0000 - $53,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
