Job Description

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scripts.
• Create defect reports and follow through to resolution.
• Timely identification of severity of system issues and effectively communicates adequate priority level and impact to appropriate parties.
• Status reporting
• Ensure software and hardware solutions meet customer requirements for usability and functionality.
• Ability to run Automated tests
• Manage QE tasks from QE handoff through testing and deployment to production.
• Define and implement test metrics to determine coverage and effectiveness.
• Diagnose and document advanced application issues received from customer.
• Apply industry best practices of standard testing methodologies and shares them with the team.
• Travel may be required to provide professional services and support customer activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass the highest levelsecurity clearance
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in software Quality Engineering.
• Experience with JIRA and HP QC is a must
• Understanding Client/Server Application as well as Web Application testing.
• Ability to design, create and maintain automated testing suites.
• Understanding development environment and lifecycle.
• Ability to learn and understand complex design systems.
• Strong logic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Retail domain is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Demonstrated testing skills utilizing a wide range of tools, techniques, and standards.
• Knowledge of operating systems, system architecture, databases, and file systems.
• Ability to set goals, and achieve scheduled deadlines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
