Qualifications

Software Quality Engineer III

Irving, TX USA

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, product owner and other QE team members to design, develop test automation frameworks for UI, API and performance testing.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions to understand workflow and build test cases accordingly.
• Continually stay up to date with industry changes and bring new concepts to your team.
• Communicate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders concerning the team’s work.
• Exhibits high personal commitment to quality, implementing Development best practices.
• Works with Quality Engineering and Support staff to resolve problems with released software.
  
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 7-10 years of experience in software testing
• API testing experience
• BDD test architecture experience with the Gherkin language & supporting tools like (Spec Flow and Cucumber)
• 5+ years of programming Experience with any combination of the following - Object Oriented C#, JavaScript or TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience with any combination of the following tools/library’s – Playwright, Selenium, Specflow and Appium Frameworks
• 3+ years of experience with MS Visual Studio Code
• 3+ Years of experience using public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• 3+ years of experience CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Working experience with test management tools
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum
• Experience with designing systems in consideration of NFRs: performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability…
• Experience with Atlassian products Jira and Confluence
  
  

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Web services integration REST & SOAP in .NET
• Experience using Performance Testing tools like JMeter or K6
• Good experience with TDD, BDD or xUnit test patterns
• Experience with POS systems
