Advanced Solutions International, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test specifications, shape acceptance criteria, and own test plans across one or more specs through refinement to validation.
You will design and execute plans, automate UI/API tests, and perform exploratory testing to ensure features meet requirements. The role emphasizes defect ownership, collaboration with product and engineering, and contributing to release-readiness in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced Solutions International is a global software company focused on helping not-for-profits and membership organizations grow revenue, reduce expenses, improve performance, engage and serve members and donors through innovative software solutions. Our portfolio of solutions also includes the iMIS Engagement Management System, TopClass LMS, and the Clowder mobile app. Together, we help our clients achieve great things.
About our position
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) tests the work of one or more product specifications at a time, attached to the specification rather than embedded in a single team. Working within the quality function, the SQAE helps shape testable acceptance criteria during refinement, writes and executes the test plan for the specifications they own, and performs the manual and automated testing that confirms a change is correct before it ships. Reducing the defects that escape into production, quarter over quarter, is the shared measure of success for the role and the department.
