Client Solution Architects seeks a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support a Millington, TN program. You will design, execute, and document test plans and scripts for software systems used in defense applications.

You’ll verify functionality against user requirements and standards, perform compatibility testing, and report defects with clear analysis. The role requires a active Secret Clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and 3 years of data/statistical analysis and process improvement

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required and maintained.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, and Business Process Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Programs, analyzes, and runs tests on new or modified software programs to verify they function per user requirements and guidelines.
• Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
• Executes in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and confirms requirements are met.
• Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.
• Writes and verifies quality standards and test procedures for software design and evaluation.
• Reviews operating logs to identify program errors and corrects them.
• Enters instructions to test program validity of results and conformance to standards.
• Observes program tests to detect errors and issues corrections.
• Identifies differences between standards and user applications and suggests conforming changes.
• Sets up tests to locate and correct operating errors after installation.
• Monitors performance post-implementation to ensure efficiency and prevent recurrence.
• Writes documentation describing program evaluation, testing, and correction.
• May evaluate proposed software or software enhancements for feasibility.
• May develop utilities to test, track, and verify defects in software.

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support a program at Millington, TN. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.

How Role will make an impact:

• Programs, analyzes, and runs tests on new or modified software programs, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart, and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.
• Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
• Runs in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met.
• Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.
• Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards, and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.
• Reviews computer operating log to identify program processing errors.
• Enters instructions into computer to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards.
• Observes computer monitor screen during program test to detect error codes or interruption of program and corrects errors.
• Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications, and suggests modifications to conform to standards.
• Sets up tests at request of user to locate and correct program operating error following installation of program.
• Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
• Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
• May evaluate proposed software or software enhancement for feasibility.
• May develop utility program to test, track, and verify defects in software program.
• May write programs to create new procedures or modify existing procedures.
• May train software program users.
