Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a Software Product Manager in Houston to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software products. You will influence stakeholders across engineering, design, architecture, and business functions to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will drive discovery, validate hypotheses, and manage backlogs with a Product Owner in an Agile environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals while balancing new development, maintenance, and technical debt.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, product management, business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software product management, digital products, or related roles in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices, backlog management, and release planning.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap and ensure alignment with enterprise vision and roadmap.
  • Lead product discovery efforts, including problem definition, customer research, and validation of product hypotheses.
  • Facilitate backlog prioritization with a Product Owner, balancing business value, customer impact, and feasibility.
  • Lead PI Planning sessions and monitor progress to ensure delivery of value across development teams.
  • Engage and align stakeholders across engineering, design, architecture, and business functions.

You are meant for this job if:
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, product management, business, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2years experiencein software product management, digital products, or related roles in an Agile environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices, backlog management, and release planning
  • Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across cross-functional teams
  • Ability tooperateeffectively in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel, as well as customers
  • PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software
  • In office work four days per week with one work from home day.
