Job summary

American Fidelity seeks an intern to support the technical functions of a specific department, including software development, testing, data analysis, and documentation. You will prepare and deliver reports and presentations to varied groups and collaborate with the manager and teammates to communicate findings and recommendations.

Ideal candidates are graduating May 2027 or later, have completed a software development course, and can work in the office for up to a year starting January 2027.

Qualifications

  • Graduating May 2027 or later with a focus in software development.
  • Must have completed a software development course.
  • Available to intern up to a year starting January 2027.
  • Must be available to come into the office for the internship.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and software is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical functions of the department (software programming, testing, data analysis, documentation).
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to groups of varying sizes.
  • Collaborate with manager and team members to communicate findings and recommendations.

Job Description Perform various duties to support technical functions of specific department supported. This could include, but is not necessarily limited to: software programming, software testing, process analysis, requirements, report writing, data analysis, data scrubbing, predictive modeling, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems, documentation and system administration Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to various groups of various sizes to communicate findings and / or recommendations Work collaboratively with manager, department members and other interns

  • Must be available to intern up to a year starting in January 2027
  • Understanding of software mobile development
  • Must have completed a software development course

  • Strong experience with MS Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
