Job summary

Rocketlab in Albuquerque, New Mexico is looking for an intern in computer science or engineering. This opportunity is designed for candidates enrolled in a degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering and have at least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience).
• Able to work full time, on site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning August or September 2026.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience).
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Svelte.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust and fumes in production areas.
