Job summary

CNH Industrial, a leader in agricultural and construction equipment, offers an Internship Software Integration Test opportunity in Oak Brook, IL. You will validate Vehicle Application software across tractor platforms and document test results for stakeholders.

Current students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Systems/Software/Computer Engineering or related fields are invited. Automotive internship experience is a plus; housing support and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Prior internship experience in an automotive company would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and configure a complete test bench.
Install and load software builds onto the test bench.
Execute validation testing for assigned Vehicle Application software tickets alongside an integration test engineer.
Document test results, findings and observations in the corresponding tickets.
Create and share test reports with relevant stakeholders.
Develop proficiency in Vector CANalyzer to support test execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to investigate integration issues.
Support root cause analysis for issues involving controller software, hardware I/O, wire harnessing, and related vehicle subsystems.
Maintain clear technical documentation and ensure test evidence is traceable to assigned tickets.
