Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to integrate, test, deploy, and troubleshoot mission services in both on-prem and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in integrating and supporting software, as well as proficiency in Linux system administration and development of automation scripts. An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance is essential. This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

A day in the life:

We're seeking a Software Integration Engineer to help with the integration, test, deployment and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.

What you bring to the table:

• 8 + years of relevant experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Five (5) additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
• Proficient performing Linux System Administration
• Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment
• Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)
• Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)
• Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Accumulo
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containerd)
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)
• An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Bonus Skills:

• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• AWS Cloud experience

Salary Range: Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.

Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $150,000 - $200,000.
