Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related disciplines with an analytical component.
• Willing to travel up to 50% during the week.
• Strong programming skills: SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB or similar.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing project schedules and fostering team collaboration.
• Experience or aspiration in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in developing and implementing client solutions.
• Entrepreneurial skills and motivation to take on more responsibility.
• Interest in growing client relationships through direct interaction.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients daily to gather business and technical specs for implementing next-gen software solutions.
• Join small project teams on established activities or larger projects.

• Provide guidance and mentoring for less experienced consultants.

Overview

This individual will be a member of a team focused on providing technical support and timely, effective solutions to complex business problems through the troubleshooting, triaging, and testing of our financial software applications. The individual should have a strong desire for continuous learning and growth of technical and functional skills with the aspiration to leverage these skills to provide a positive customer experience. The role requires extensive interactions with customers via written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Working with Clients on a daily basis to obtain business and technical specifications to help implement next generation software solutions
• Working in small project teams on established activities or as a part of larger projects
• Participating in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementation
• Ensuring successful completion of personal and team deliverables
• Working closely with our software engineering teams to integrate release software into Client environments
• Providing guidance and mentoring for less experienced consultants
• Participating in company building exercises, such as recruiting or delivery of internal training courses
• And other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related disciplines that have an analytical component
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% during the week
• Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as managing project schedules and fostering team collaboration
• Aspiration or work experience in the oil and gas industry
• Aspiration or work experience in developing and implementing solutions for Client needs
• Entrepreneurial skills, including motivation to take on more responsibility
• Interest to help grow and develop Client relationships through direct and meaningful interaction

Preferred Skills

• Related work experience is strongly preferred

• Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
