Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Software/Hardware Test Engineer to support jump networks, diagnose and repair hardware and/or software issues on Automated Test Systems and maintain GPS signal distribution for reliable operation.

Responsibilities

As a Software/Hardware Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in supporting jump networks, diagnosing and repairing hardware and/or software issues on Automated Test Systems, and maintaining the GPS signal distribution network to ensure continuous operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is prepared to provide technical troubleshooting and technical support, including occasional after‑hours calls.

Note: Opportunity is open to varying experience levels (from early career to senior engineer levels)

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain jump networks, ensuring reliability and optimal performance of Automated Test Systems for navigation and inertial sensing products.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues, to minimize system downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the operation of GPS networks, ensuring consistent service availability.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware components.
  • Ensure proper hardware and software integration and operation of ATE and data acquisition systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement software solutions that enhance system capabilities.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and technical support for products in a fast‑paced defense industry context.
  • Participate in on‑call support rotations, including occasional after‑hours support as needed.
