Aeva in Mountain View is seeking a Software Field Applications Engineer to assist customers in integrating Aeva’s 4D LiDAR sensor software. This role involves hands-on coding, customer interaction, and technical support.
The ideal candidate should have a BS in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience in C++ and/or Python. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts. The position may involve travel up to 10% within the United States and Europe.

We are looking for a Software Field Applications Engineer to support customer software integration for Aeva’s 4D LiDAR products. This is a customer‑facing role focused on helping partners successfully deploy and use Aeva software interfaces, tools, and example applications. You will work closely with customers to bring up sensors, integrate software into their systems, troubleshoot issues, and develop custom examples or solutions when needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on software work, customer interaction, and solving practical integration problems across robotics, perception, and automotive systems.

Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job‑related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonus, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, pre‑tax commuter and health care/dependent care accounts, 401k plan, life and disability benefits, flexible time off, paid parental leave, and 11 paid holidays annually.
