BT Group in Ipswich is seeking a Software Engineering Professional to join our security-focused software delivery teams. This role requires DV (Developed Vetting) level security clearance and an annual allowance of 5k while holding clearance.

You will deliver high-quality software across platforms, using languages including Python, C++, Java, Objective-C, C#, and C, and provide technical coaching to peers. Office-based with occasional travel; remote work is not an option.

Essential Skills

• Experience in delivering software engineering projects.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, C++, Objective-C, Java, C#, C.
• Ability to take personal responsibility, work autonomously, and own projects.
• Must hold and maintain Security (DV) clearance.
• Willingness to work from office locations, with occasional travel to customer sites; remote working is not an option.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of additional technologies such as JavaScript, MEAN stack, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, AWS.
• Experience with agile project methodologies.
