Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of Software development experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience 3+ years of experience in developing any of the following: Operating Systems, Android internals, lower-level frameworks for mobile apps,
• Experience coding in either C++ or Java 1+ years of experience developing software for mobile platforms (Android/iOS)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• 3+ years experience with any of the following: Android internals, AOSP, Android SDK, Android NDK, Android JNI, Android IPC mechanisms, Linux OS development
• Device constraints — power, thermal, memory, latency — in the domains of low power devices, app frameworks and perception
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience with Android UI frameworks and services
• Experience with Android performance tools and security models
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
