Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to blend software development and quality engineering on the Salesforce Platform.

You will apply AI, GenAI, and agentic tooling to accelerate development, test automation, and end-to-end quality in a hybrid Dev + QA setup. You will build scalable web applications, design with architects, and implement OO design patterns while creating robust test strategies and plans.

Qualifications

• A related technical degree required.
• 3+ years (with Master's) or 5+ years programming in Java, C or C++, Python.
• 2+ years developing on the Force.com platform.
• 2+ years of web development with server-side technologies, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented design and design patterns.
• Expertise with web services (SOAP, REST).
• Strong database concepts and data modeling.
• Expertise in query languages (SOQL or SQL).
• Strong fundamentals and mastery of QE processes.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, delivering on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines.
• Team player who motivates people, instills accountability and achieves results.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adopt AI-based test automation, such as self‑healing tests and AI-generated test cases, and measure their impact on quality and productivity.
• Contribute to or build AI/agent-powered features on the Salesforce platform (e.g. Agentforce, prompt‑driven workflows) with attention to responsible and secure AI use.
• Champion best practices in SDLC, Agile and software development.
• Work with quality engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery.
• Communicate status and risks clearly to the team and manager.

The Experience

We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) who blends software development and quality engineering to build, test and ship high-quality applications on the Salesforce Platform. You will apply Artificial Intelligence (including GenAI and agentic tooling) to accelerate development and test automation, and own quality end to end in a hybrid Dev + QA engineering model.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Contribute to or build AI/agent-powered features on the Salesforce platform (e.g. Agentforce, prompt‑driven workflows) with attention to responsible and secure AI use.

• Work with quality engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery.

• Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein or other Salesforce AI capabilities.
• Engineering and Quality JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium or similar tools.
• Test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI).
• Source control management systems.
• AI-assisted test automation tools (e.g. self‑healing or AI test‑generation platforms).
• JavaScript SPA development with Lightning Web Components, Angular, React or Vue.
• Scrum team experience with Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the SaaS model and concepts.
