Job summary

The role focuses on building RESTful APIs, service-based architectures, deployment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and SIP-based VoIP frameworks like PJMEDIA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 13+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing, or integrating RESTful services in a production environment.
• DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Experience working in an Agile or hybrid Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and task leadership for a team of software engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality software on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Lead development of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures for Java enterprise applications deployed on application servers like JBoss.
• Guide software deployment and sustainment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems with RPM-based packaging.
• Participate in and lead code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions for service-based, VoIP, and application-level software systems.
