This role will also serve as a people manager, leading and developing a team responsible for delivering product outcomes in partnership with engineering and cross-functional business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic product leader with experience building technology products and services in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, as well as experience managing, coaching, and developing team members. Automotive industry experience is preferred, particularly in areas such as port operations, vehicle allocation, fleet management, sales tools, DMS integrations, and retailer-facing digital solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Define and manage the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for business-critical platforms, including port management, vehicle allocation, sales tools, fleet solutions, and retailer digital experiences.
  • Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, and delivery in partnership with engineering, design, analytics, sales, fleet management, port operations, retailer operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of product professionals, providing clear direction, performance guidance, prioritization support, and opportunities for growth.
  • Set team goals, clarify roles and responsibilities, support workload planning, and foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing product management culture.
  • Translate complex business objectives and operational processes into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support modernization efforts across port operations and related systems.
  • Develop and enhance tools that enable retailers, field teams, and internal business partners to operate more efficiently, gain greater visibility, and support improved sales performance.
  • Partner with engineering teams to manage delivery priorities, dependencies, release planning, agile ceremonies, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with sales, fleet management, retailer operations, and other business teams to identify opportunities, validate solutions, support change management, and drive adoption of new capabilities.
  • Use data, user feedback, business performance metrics, and market insights to evaluate product effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s (masters preferred) degree in business, technology, engineering, product management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in product management (10+ years), product ownership, digital product development, or related roles, preferably with responsibility for complex business platforms or operational tools.
  • Prior people management experience, including managing direct reports, coaching team members, setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Demonstrated experience building, launching, and improving products, platforms, or services that support business operations, sales enablement, customer-facing digital experiences, or internal enterprise workflows.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, including engineering, sales, fleet, operations, analytics, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, prioritize competing needs, and deliver measurable business value in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into clear requirements and scalable digital solutions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using data, performance metrics, user feedback, and business insights to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Experience partnering with engineering teams on software development, system integrations, APIs, technical delivery planning, and release execution.
  • Working knowledge of product development and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Notion, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to understand technical tradeoffs, dependencies, architecture considerations, and delivery constraints while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with data systems, reporting tools, workflow platforms, enterprise technology environments, and integration-dependent products.
