Job summary

Power Systems Hanwha in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of customer-facing software products and drive our digital transformation. You will guide architecture, SDLC, and AI/ML initiatives.

The role requires 8+ years of software experience, 3+ years in leadership, and hands-on AWS data/AI tools. You will mentor teams, set standards, collaborate across IT, product, and engineering to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
8+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
3+ years in a management or technical leadership role.
Proven track record launching customer-facing software products.
Strong SDLC, architecture, and agile methodologies knowledge.
Experience with AI/ML technologies in industrial contexts.
Designing data pipelines, ETL, data lake/warehouse architectures.
Experience with AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Glue, Athena, S3.
Familiar with JIRA and GitHub.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader for operational data products and enterprise data pipeline driving architecture and development strategy.
Lead and mentor software development teams through the full SDLC.
Define and enforce software development standards, best practices, and processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, product management, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, customer-facing software solutions.
Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance product capabilities and optimize/automate operational workflows.
Work with AWS IT Architect and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on cost efficiency and scalability (AWS preferred).
Support modeling and simulation initiatives to improve product performance and reliability.
