Northrop Grumman Defense System is seeking a Manager Software Engineer 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Hollywood, MD or Manhattan Beach, CA.
The Functional manager will lead a team of approximately 10-15 engineers working within the Mission Planning department in the Mission Data Management Engineering (MDM) operating unit (OU), part of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems' C2 & Weapons Integration (CWI) division. The successful candidate will lead direct report employees based on organizational goals, program activity, and company policies. Specific responsibilities include coordinating with programs for staffing, recruiting, training, preparing and delivering performance reviews to employees, evaluating/recommending employees for promotions, evaluating salaries and coordinating with Human Resources on potential adjustments, assisting employees in preparing performance goals, providing career guidance to employees and counseling employees on their performance as necessary. Program Execution and Engineering Excellence are our driving forces.
Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
