Job summary

CACI in Colorado Springs is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a software sustainment team supporting the SCN under the DSLM contract. You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, coordinate with Product Owners, and act as Scrum Master to ensure timely, high-quality software deliveries.

The role requires US citizenship with DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, a BS in CS/Software Eng, and 3+ years in software teams, with Agile experience.

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in support of the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) contract, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You will lead and grow a team of software engineers, test engineers, and product owners in support of our various mission and non-mission systems in support of the Satellite Control Network (SCN), as well as act as the Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering team development, and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. This position requires a proven track record of managing software engineering teams, balancing technical and business priorities, and creating an environment where engineers thrive.

Responsibilities

• Experience using the following COTS tools: JIRA, Git, SharePoint, Fortify
• Other Agile Certifications (software development oriented)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
