Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Планировать ресурсы для проектов, формировать требования к найму и проводить onboarding
• Развивать компетенции по Python и организовывать обучение через EPAM L&D
• Налаживать отношения с клиентами, управлять ожиданиями и ответственностью за доставку
• Планировать графики проектов, устанавливать приоритеты и контролировать качество поставок

Описание: We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with a Python background to lead and grow our team. This is a people-first role. You will spend a big part of your time managing people, and it is as important as your technical expertise. We are not looking for a tech lead who only drives solutions. We need a manager who wants to build teams and grow engineers.

Lead, coach and motivate engineers. Create personal development plans and career paths for them Build a positive working environment and keep the team engaged Plan resources for new and existing projects. Define hiring needs, recruit new people and set up a strong onboarding process Develop the Python competency: define the required skills and technologies and organize training through EPAM L&D Build long-term relationships with clients, manage their expectations and take full responsibility for delivery Plan project schedules, set team priorities and make sure issues and defects are resolved on time Work with developers on requirements, review deliverables and uphold engineering standards (corporate and project-specific) Take part in solution design and make sure it meets business, financial and schedule goals

Требования:

7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Python Knowledge of and practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI solution engineering Proven experience managing a team of 5+ people and solving people management questions Strong leadership and communication skills Good knowledge of project management and software engineering practices English level B2 or higher, spoken and written Будет плюсом: Experience with cloud solutions, AWS or Azure preferred
