Job summary

Commure is seeking Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to work on real problems and learn from exceptional engineers, delivering software that reaches real users.

Intern projects span AI & Agents, Clinical, Revenue Cycle Management, Platform & Infrastructure, and Product Engineering, offering hands-on experiences across frontend, backend, APIs, and ML features.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Expected graduation in 2028
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Dart, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React, and native mobile platforms
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, Redis, cloud object storage, Kubernetes, containers, distributed queues, and data processing pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excitement about building products that solve real-world problems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship features across frontend, backend, mobile, or infrastructure

About the Role

We\'re looking for Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 who want to work on real problems, learn from exceptional engineers, and ship software that reaches real users. Intern projects will vary by team, but examples could include:

AI & Agents: Build an AI-powered workflow that helps healthcare teams automate repetitive administrative work.

Clinical: Develop features that help clinicians spend less time documenting and more time with patients.

Revenue Cycle Management: Build software that helps healthcare practices automate billing workflows and improve their financial operations.

Platform & Infrastructure: Improve the reliability, observability, or scalability of services supporting thousands of healthcare organizations.

Product Engineering: Build end-to-end features across React, APIs, backend services, and databases that are used by healthcare providers every day.

What You\'ll Do

• Design, build, test, and ship features across frontend, backend, mobile, or infrastructure

What You Have
