Job summary

RTX in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the AFATDS International programs within the Software Engineering department. We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work on the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) International programs as part of the Software Engineering department at our Fort Wayne, Indiana office site. This is an excellent opportunity for a student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related course of study to join the fast-paced and exciting Raytheon/Collins team. Success in this position will enhance the reach of the AFATDS International family of products throughout the world.

The successful candidate is expected to work in a team environment under the guidance of a team leader to develop implementation of software requirements for various Fire Support Command and Control (C2) software products, including, but not limited to, the transition of the AFATDS legacy code base to a modern software architecture. This is an onsite position located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
