Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program in Melbourne, FL. You will be part of the Software Engineering directorate and collaborate with users, customers, and developers in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

The internship offers hands-on experience across engineering specializations, with exposure to real projects and a path toward a security clearance. This is a full-time summer program located in Melbourne, Florida.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field, graduating after August 2027.
• Major in a STEM related degree.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
