Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Summer 2027 IT Software Intern in Conshohocken, PA. You will work with the Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team on real business initiatives, attend stand-ups, and contribute to projects alongside team members.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS or related degrees, can read and write business requirements, and have experience in Java or C++, web development, and React. This paid internship offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar major field of study.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
• Experience with a programming language such as Java or C++.
• Understanding of core Computer Science concepts and data structures.
• Understanding of relational database design and theory.
• Web development experience.
• Experience/Exposure with UI JavaScript framework such as React.
• Experience/Exposure with JEE development with frameworks such as Spring.
• Understanding of the CICD cycles.
• Understand the concept of agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical projects with the eCommerce team.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to discuss assigned tasks and collaborate with team.
• Deliver assigned stories/spikes and defects
• Assist with documentation and testing as assigned.
• Create basic documentation for tools, scripts, and process updates.
• Learn team tools and support small tasks across integration projects.
• Support ongoing projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
