Job summary

empirical Foods offers a best-in-class internship program designed to identify future leaders. Interns work on projects within the Systems Automation department and gain hands-on experience in application development during a 10–12 week summer term.

Under supervision, you will contribute to software and website development, review requirements, and support productivity improvements. Housing is provided when needed and interns may be considered for full-time roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Basic experience in application development and programming.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop software programs, applications, and websites under supervision.
• Review software requirements to meet functionality and design needs.
• Support continuous improvement of software for productivity.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects.
• Cross-train across departments to understand workflow.
• Review and develop technical documents and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attend to attendance requirements.
