Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Oregon is seeking a master’s student in CS/CE/EE for a full-time, one-year on-site QA internship focused on testing AI agents and evaluation frameworks across the NV GPU Platform. You will design and execute tests for models, runtimes, and configurations, and collaborate with developers to triage issues.

The ideal candidate has strong Python and shell scripting, experience with open-source models (Hugging Face), Linux knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

• Test cutting-edge AI agents and end-to-end agentic workflows across NV GPU Platform.
• Validate models across inference runtimes, model formats, precision and quantization settings, and hardware/software configurations.
• Design and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, reliability, and performance tests.
• Develop automated tests and evaluation frameworks for capabilities such as reasoning, tool use, multi-turn interactions, memory, and retrieval.
• Use AI development tools to improve productivity across test planning, test case development, execution, analysis, and automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to triage issues, perform root-cause analysis, verify fixes, and improve test coverage and quality.

What we need to see

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong software development potential, with proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience downloading, configuring, and running open-source models - such as models from Hugging Face - have used at least one local inference runtime or framework.
• Experience using AI development tools to improve quality and productivity across the end-to-end QA workflow.
• Good knowledge of Linux, software development and testing methodologies.
• Fluent written and spoken English and strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, innovative, and self-motivated attitude with a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site five days per week, for one year.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience with LLM applications, AI agents, agentic workflows, developing AI evaluation or test automation frameworks.
• Background with NVIDIA GPU hardware, CUDA, or parallel programming.
