Job summary

EFJohnson Technologies, Inc. invites software engineering interns to join its Lincoln, NE team. You will work on embedded C++ features for radio systems, build support and test apps in Visual C++/QT, and contribute to web front-end/back-end projects as part of a disciplined engineering group.

The internship starts May 2027. Strong GPA and progress toward a degree in CS/CE/EE/Software Engineering are required; many interns move to full-time roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CE/EE/CS/SE with strong GPA.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem solving.
• Interest in embedded systems and software development for radio and DSP.

Responsibilities

• Develop radio features in a C++ embedded Linux environment.
• Develop radio support/test applications in Visual C++/QT environment.
• Develop front-end/back-end for web applications.
• Collaborate with an experienced engineering team following established processes.
• Internship program with potential full-time conversion.
