Job summary

Meta seeks Software Engineer Interns to join our engineering team to build features and improve products used by billions of people worldwide. You’ll develop production-ready code, ramp quickly on codebases, and work with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

The internship lasts at least twelve weeks. Ideal candidates are pursuing a CS degree, have experience with Java, Python, C++, and JavaScript, and can obtain work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree‑seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience coding in industry‑standard languages (e.g. Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co‑op
