Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, AL seeks a Developing Level Software Engineer (2-5 years) to design and build front-end to back-end software for modeling DoW medical planning tools. The role focuses on moving from desktop to web, using Blazor, .NET, and AWS, in a highly regulated environment.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers, testers, and writers, participate in full SDLC, and contribute to scalable, maintainable interfaces with strong usability and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in software engineering, CS, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of application development experience in the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience using C# to develop web applications.
• Skilled with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Familiar with Blazor, ASP.NET Core, .NET 8+ and AWS.
• Basic experience with Docker containers.
• Awareness of regulated cloud enclaves (AWS GovCloud / Azure Government).
• Experience with third-party UI components (Infragistics/DevExpress/ThinkGeo).
• Proficient with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop browser-based UI using Blazor and back-end APIs.
• Implement and integrate with AWS cloud services.
• Participate in full SDLC in a CMMI Level 3 environment.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve product usability.
• Work with design, system engineers, testers, and technical writers.
