Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Millersville, Maryland, seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain data analytics solutions within agile programs. You will lead technical efforts, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross‑functional groups to deliver mission‑critical software deployed in production.

Proficiency with Linux, Java, JavaScript, React, and MongoDB is valued. A Top Secret clearance with polygraph is required, and you’ll work across teams to ensure product quality

THE WORK

This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high‑visibility mission. This position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives. The Program has a robust process to ensure the quality of products, including DAT, UAT/SME Validation, Smoke Test, and System Level Test (SLT) prior to deploying products to production.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions, with a focus on Linux operating systems. Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java.
