Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in California is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle within an Integrated Product Team. You will perform Agile development, embedded system programming, software integration and testing across mission systems.

On-site at San Diego or El Segundo with up to 25% travel; active Top Secret clearance is required. Candidates should have a STEM degree and SDLC experience, with proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline; SDLC experience required.
Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with C, C++, Java, and/or Python.
Experience with Agile development, OOP, embedded systems, software integration and testing.
Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience
Experience with the full software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with C, C++, Java, and/or Python
Experience with Agile software development, object-oriented programming, embedded system programming, software integration, and testing
Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck
Active in-Scope, U.S. Government Top Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) before commencement of employment and within a reasonable amount of time
U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
