Job summary

The Voleon Group is seeking a Software Engineer (University Hire 2027) to design and implement scalable, high-performance software for trading and research platforms. You will work with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers to deliver resilient solutions in a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong Python, C/C++, and backend engineering experience in Linux, with knowledge of Kubernetes and modern build tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field (Graduating class of 2027).
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate in diverse software work, including trading infrastructure, data processing, and model development pipelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust software for trading strategies and research initiatives.
• Proactively engage in complex projects from requirements to software design and deployment, communicating with teammates.
• Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers and leverage mentorship and coaching.
