Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and deploy agentic AI systems for U.S. Government missions. This full-time, remote role invites you to take prototypes to production while operating in a high-security environment.

You will design LLM applications, integrate multi-agent systems, and partner with government customers to translate mission needs into scalable technical solutions. Strong Python skills and data pipelines experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, partner-facing settings.
• Strong Python engineering with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Experience building data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
• Comfortable in high-security, high-reliability environments.

Compensation: $300K - $500K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
