B4Corp in Herndon, VA is seeking a Software Developer with TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph for Level 2 - Expert work. The role focuses on translating requirements into robust software components, designing and developing software with cross-team collaboration, and coaching junior engineers on best practices.

The position includes participation in code/design reviews, data extraction/ETL processes, and driving CI/CD improvements, with core hours 9am–4pm and a salary up to $225,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Developmental (0-2 years' experience).
• Full Performance (3-5 years' experience).
• Senior (6-10 years' experience).
• Expert (11-15 years' experience).
• SME (16+ years' experience).
• Recent experience developing in Python (3+ years).
• Experience with ETL.
• Experience in SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in the Software Development Life Cycle to include debugging, testing, and deployment to different environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and translate them into implementable solutions.
• Design and develop software components interfacing with other teams.
• Coach junior team members on development best practices and code efficiency.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Research data sources and extract/transform/load data into a database for processing.
• Work with team to understand current product features.
• Follow team development processes and standards.
• Commit to continuous process improvement for software integration and CI/CD.
• Think strategically and present ideas and solutions to the team.
