Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a software engineer to contribute to web application and UI development, leveraging Java, Python, embedded C/C++, and related Java frameworks. U.S.

citizen with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph is required for the position. Qualifications include 4+ years of direct experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, strong Java experience with multiple frameworks, and familiarity with databases and web UI technologies (AngularJS/JSON/XML).

Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 4+ years direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated in-depth experience with Java.
• Experience with Java frameworks: Spring Boot/Data, JEE (JPA, EJB, JTA, Servlet), Jackson, Jersey, Swing, JavaFX.
• Experience or familiarity with JavaScript, Python, C/C++, SQL.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, WebStorm.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• Experience with Web UI development, knowledge of databases and structures, Spring Framework, and AngularJS/JSON/HTML/XML/XSLT.
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of cryptographic systems (symmetric/asymmetric, ASN.1, digital signatures).
• Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux.
• Professional experience with web services.
• Strong software development principles; ability to plan and communicate well.
• Independent thinker able to work independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment.
