Job summary

TikTok is hiring in San Jose to develop and optimize its search engine, delivering higher quality results and a better user experience. You will design core systems and algorithms for query understanding, ranking, and recommendations.

You’ll work on large-scale backend services, information retrieval, and ML-driven components, with exposure to data processing with Hadoop or Spark.

Requirements: bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field, 2+ years of experience with C/C++, Python, Java or Golang.
