Job summary

Beyond SOF in Arlington, VA is seeking engineers to research, design, and modify in-house software for national security missions. You will work with field users and hardware engineers to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

Candidates must have a TS/SCI eligibility, 3+ years in software development, experience with Linux, and familiarity with Raspberry Pi or Arduino. Domestic/OCONUS travel may be required; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are

Qualifications

Must have TOP SECRET clearance and SCI access (SSBI <4.5 years).
Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in CS or similar field.
Experience with Linux software development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience programming on Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar hardware platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Research, design, develop and/or modify existing in-house software.
Stay up to date on emerging threats through provided reporting.
Research and propose software solutions to counter threats.
Collaborate with field users from design through implementation of in-house developed software.
Work closely with technicians and hardware engineers to develop software solutions.
Conduct R&D of equipment to detect and locate threats posed to the U.S. Government by emerging tech.
Collaborate with sectors to understand vulnerabilities across wireless technologies.
