Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Test Software team at the Texas Rocket Development Facility in Central Texas. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software for test stand data acquisition, control, and post-processing, working closely with engineers and IT to meet demanding test needs.

You should bring a strong problem-solving mindset, collaboration skills, and the ability to lead technically in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or other science discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in software development (internship experience qualifies).
• Experience with National Instruments hardware and software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop software and systems for data acquisition and control for test stands.
• Collaborate with engineers and IT to develop computing and network solutions for test stand data and control needs.
• Support active operations when software issues are encountered; own design, testing and integration.
