SpaceX in Seattle is seeking a software engineer for the Starlink program to design, build, and operate a scalable telemetry platform. You will collaborate with architecture teams and satellite/rocket groups to translate mission needs into robust software solutions, owning the full stack from software to hardware.

Qualification includes a bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software experience and 1+ years in relevant fields.

As a software engineer on the Starlink program, you will be solving challenges that improve our ability to fully utilize the hardware we have deployed. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Programming experience in C#, Java, or similar languages
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems for processing and querying high-volume data
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Working knowledge of Linux, version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring systems

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range:
Level 1: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00
Level 2: $145,000.00 - $200,000.00
