Job summary

CACI is seeking a Technical Team Lead for the Mission Intelligence (MI) team to support data engineering, analytics, and automation initiatives. The MI platform enables enterprise-wide, data-driven decision making and requires reliability, availability, and quality of the mission-critical system.

You will mentor junior engineers and data scientists, design scalable ETL workflows, and help integrate site reliability engineering practices while collaborating with mission-focused customers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, CS, IS, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• 20+ years of experience as a Lead Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity (or 16 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).
• Proven experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Augment the platform with new tools or technologies.

Serve as the Technical Team Lead for the Mission Intelligence (MI) team, supporting data engineering, analytics, and automation initiatives. The MI team operates a business intelligence platform that enables enterprise-wide, data driven decision making. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability, availability, and quality of this mission critical platform. You will also contribute to the MI team as a system engineer, software engineer and analytic developer where you will design, develop, and integrate solutions involving the analysis of large data sets to establish mission cognizance and deliver mission-centric insights.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms.

• Strong Java development skills.
• Familiarity with customer authentication and authorization platforms and standards.
• Experience with service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git for software version control.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Customer service mindset.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
• Experience or exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.
• Willingness to contribute to internal and customer-facing documentation.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$113,200 - $237,800
